Tara’s artwork took off when she moved to Maine from New York. in 2017. She found that drawing and illustrating what she appreciated in life brought a peaceful state of mind, and that giving these drawings as gifts to her friends and family was a joyful experience. In an attempt to focus and develop her skills, she dove deeper into creating artwork by challenging herself with a 100 Days of Art series in 2020 through her instagram account. The challenge served as both a practice in mindfulness and a form of healing during a time of confusion and uncertainty (the pandemic).
Tara moved back to Brooklyn, New York in 2023 and envisions maintaining a presence in Maine through her art, music, and spiritual journey as well as expanding in New York City and other areas of the world.
She loves working one on one with clients for custom illustrations and designs and is thankful and grateful to create art for herself and for others.
