the evening features a live ambient performance by tara rook (just milk) whose work blends glowing synth pop, dark disco, and dreamy trip-hop into emotionally resonant soundscapes. rooted in themes of heartache and healing, tara’s practice spans ambient albums, beat-driven releases, house EPs, and DJ mixes, performed live via SP404-SX or through carefully curated DJ sets. as a Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary artist, she is deeply committed to collaboration and gender equity within electronic music, creating spaces that feel both expansive and accessible.
guiding the breathwork journey is mina bahadori (she/her), an Iranian-American breath and energy guide based in Brooklyn. with a decade of experience, mina crafts somatic, music-forward journeys rooted in intuition, safety, and collective presence. her work lives at the intersection of breath, sound, and shared experience, offering depth without heaviness and spirituality without rigidity. her approach is inclusive, gentle, and playful, holding space for transformation that feels natural rather than forced.
